It’s so tough saying goodbye to my babies and choosing who should stay and who should go. It’s not at all as glamours as X factor.

In January I launched some brand new products, in the process of designing and making the new Home Comforts Range and the Rainbow Tiles I decided it was time to retire a few items.

The very first piece I designed for the Impressed Range – – the Impressed Square Platter and it’s baby sister the Impressed Small Platter will be no more………..They are selling fast so if you want a square or small platter buy now

Sarah McKenna

Sarah McKenna has been developing her unique handmade Irish pottery at Bridge Street Studios since 1999. Before returning to Dundalk she studied Ceramics at Duncan of Jordonstone College of Art & Design, the University of Dundee, Scotland where she gained a Bachelor of Ceramic Design.

Sarah’s work has always been engaged in the process and the early studio work was concerned with smoke firing and raku firing sculptural vessel forms. In 2006 Sarah started producing a range of quirky customisable ceramics giftware which is the beginning of what you can purchase today. Read more here.
