I’ve been playing on Polyvore and oh what fun!
So my challenge was to put together some handmade craft pieces with some of my own and some high street buys to give you a view of a relaxed and natural room scene.
So I started with my Large Impressed Bowl in Green Seeds, this pattern definitely speaks to my of nature and of course it is ideal for filling with a fresh summer salad or stacking up those 5 a day.
On my personal wish list is Jennifer Slattery’s Irish Linen, I’ve chosen her silver service pieces which are 100% Irish Linen with embroidered cutlery and tableware. These pieces are classic, soft and natural but also contemporary and fun.
Just when you thought it was maybe a little too relaxed I brought some vibrant cheer with Green Gorgeous’s 100% wool felt eco chic tableware designed and made in Ireland. Green Gorgeous offer the environmentally aware consumer an exciting alternative to conventional products with design-led eco conscious gifts.
I had to add a piece of coloured glass, this piece is handmade by Terrance Sweeney at Irish Kerry Glass. I first met Terry at Showcase Ireland in 2013, when he ventures to the big smoke, the rest of the year he is to be found firing up his furnace and making fantastic glasses pieces in remote Co Kerry.
