Stuck in the Mud – a celebration of 20+ years working in clay

I commemorate two decades of my clay journey with an exhibition at the Bridge Street Studios Gallery in July 2023.

The exhibition will offer visitors an exclusive view of my newest creations, including figurative sculptures and wall art. Fan favourites like the ‘peppered globes’ will be brought back to life in a nostalgic twist.

The celebration starts with a wine reception at 7 pm on Thursday, 27th July, and then runs until Saturday, 5th August.

The exhibition runs until Saturday 5th August – open Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Sarah McKenna

Sarah McKenna has been developing her unique handmade Irish pottery at Bridge Street Studios since 1999. Before returning to Dundalk she studied Ceramics at Duncan of Jordonstone College of Art & Design, the University of Dundee, Scotland where she gained a Bachelor of Ceramic Design.

Sarah’s work has always been engaged in the process and the early studio work was concerned with smoke firing and raku firing sculptural vessel forms. In 2006 Sarah started producing a range of quirky customisable ceramics giftware which is the beginning of what you can purchase today. Read more here.
