Sarah is driven by a desire to craft meaningful objects that celebrate the deep connections found in heritage and community. Working from her studio at Bridge Street Studios in Dundalk, County Louth, Sarah creates tactile ceramics that blend modern design with traditional Irish inspiration.

Sarah’s work is deeply rooted in Irish society—the strong, warm, and close-knit relationships that define the culture are central to her philosophy. She believes ceramics should be more than just functional; they should tell a story.

The Knitted Collection embodies this approach perfectly. Sarah collaborates closely with skilled local craftspeople, translating traditional textures, like the Aran knit, into durable ceramic form. She masterfully contrasts this rugged, textured exterior with a refined, sophisticated interior, often utilizing complex finishes like the crystalline glaze. This technique ensures that while the shape is a clean, modern truncated cone, the interior boasts a unique, mottled finish, making every single piece distinct—a reflection of the individual, unique lives that form our community in Dundalk and beyond.
