Love Song Framed Ceramic Wall Art – personalised with your words
The perfect gift for the sentimental creature in your life. You choose the lyrics or quote that is close to their heart, and I make a tile to incorporate those words into a piece of artwork for their wall.
The image on the Love Song Tile is a stylised Irish landscape created with layers of textured clay. The clay is textured using vintage embossed wallpapers, which adds another layer of nostalgia to the handmade piece. After the initial firing to 1000 °C in the kiln, the piece is hand-painted with blues and greens and then placed back in the kiln for a final firing to 1100 °C. The piece is presented in a white, waxed wooden frame and put in a kraft brown gift box with my logo stamped on the front, making it a great presentation piece.
“The Love Song tile was dreamt up while trying to find the perfect gift for close friends who were getting married. They had almost anything they might need and still moved home quite often, so I thought a piece in a frame would be easier to transport, having its built-in protection. I also knew that the sentiment was the most important thing to them. So, I decided to be sneaky and ignore all protocol, and I didn’t deliver a gift before the wedding. I waited until the wedding day and listened to their first dance, which I knew would hold significance for them, and returned to the studio to design a tile incorporating a line from their song”

The small tile with up to 30 characters is approx 10cm x 10cm and in a wooden frame measuring 25cm x 25cm
The medium tile with up to 40 characters is approx 18cm x 18cm and in a wooden frame measuring 33cm x 33cm
The Large tile with up to 50 characters approx 25cm x 25m and in a wooden frame measuring 40cm x 40cm
I recommend that names, dates, and messages be handwritten on the back of the frame rather than incorporated into the tile’s design. I can add this for you if it is being sent directly to the recipient.

Delivery
Postage for deliveries is calculated at the checkout by weight using a system to calculate the best value for your destination. Tracked postage is free to Ireland for all orders over €100.
In certain countries outside of Europe, further charges for customs and duties may be added at the time of delivery: this is on a country-by-country, individual basis and will be charged by your local Customs office. Sarah McKenna Ceramics is not responsible for any importation charges or government fees that may be applied.
All the items in this shop are in stock. I aim to dispatch goods within four working days; delivery should take 3-4 days. On rare occasions, your ordered product may not be available, If your ordered product is not available, I will contact you with an expected delivery date, or a full refund will be offered.

If you would like us to send your gift! Simply enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address and add a personalised message in the “order notes” section during checkout. We’ll include a packing slip with your order, but it will only show the shipping and billing addresses, along with the items ordered—no pricing information will be included.
Packaging
All pieces are packed using high-quality eco-paper bubble wrap, tissue and cardboard, and most items are double-boxed for safe transit. The larger pieces are packed into Sarah McKenna Ceramics branded gift boxes ready for presentation.
Payment
Payment can be made with your credit card using Stripe. This payment method is a safe, secure and easy way to buy online.
Breakages
I do my utmost to ensure your product reaches you in perfect condition; however, in the event of a piece being broken or damaged, please notify me within four days so that it may be reported to the courier. Please photograph the damage and email it to me. Work that is broken in transit will be replaced immediately at no cost to the customer. In the event of custom-made pieces, a full refund will be given.
Refunds and Exchanges
If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email me within 14 days of receipt.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the original packaging, unused and in the same condition that you received it and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
Items bought on sale are not eligible for a refund.
There are certain situations where refunds are not granted. If the item is returned with obvious signs of use, Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error or Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
The buyer is responsible for the safe return of work and return delivery costs. I do not accept returns of custom-made/ bespoke orders.

I got the ‘love song framed wall art’ for my sister in law & husband as a wedding present with a line from the song which they played leaving the chapel & as their first dance. The piece is so perfect, they absolutely love it as it is so meaningful & individual to them. The ceramic piece & colours are beautiful, as is the frame.
