I’ve just returned from a refreshing break in the wilds of Donegal. So what inspiration did this fantastic part of the country bring me?
The ideas are all flickering through my brain…..
The large, large expanses of sky, sea and land. Everything is big, big big but the surfaces are all broken up beautifully by the wind and rain ( and the odd bit of sunshine)
Spending each evening indoors, listening to the howling wind and watching the roaring fire have reminded me of the pure comfort of a home and family time.
Of course I fail to spend anytime with my growing boys and not learn valuable lessons from them. My son’s enthusiasm to journal our days and record the best bits is an important reminder to me to take notes in my busy life……especially as I’ve a few more things to do before I get to play with my fresh clay!
